About Us
The Massachusetts Coalition of School-Based Health Centers, Inc. (Coalition) was established in 1994 and incorporated in 2000. The Coalition is a non-profit organization designed to unify, energize and strengthen an independent network of School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. By providing a central voice advocating for SBHCs and facilitating knowledge sharing among SBHCs, the Coalition strives to catalyze an increasingly cohesive network of centers throughout the state. The Coalition is a state chapter of the National Assembly on School-Based Health Care (NASBHC). Coalition support has come from private and state grants, donations, membership dues, and volunteer efforts. The Coalition supports the work of all programs that identify as SBHCs regardless of scope of services or funding sources.
